@Anita you see I would but we rent and that’s only reason I haven’t. They’ve said we can use the water when needed. But if left longer then 15ish minutes it leaks through the hole. So they said they’ll just wait and see… so probably gonna have to wait longer if it is an issue with the bath
I clicked wrong 🤡 you're not being stupid!! Landlords don't really want to spend money. Not getting it all checked out will likely cost them a lot more in the long run. If anything, they're being stupid.
Sounds like the landlords problem.
They should check everything really it makes sense! You should mention it to your agent/the contractor. Sometimes they only do as instructed! I’m sure the landlord would want it fixed properly. Keep on at them to fix it asap too! It is urgent. I’m head of property management of you need any help ☺️
@Sophie that’s what I’ve been saying, but asking the plumber if they’re gonna check under the bath they’ve said they see an issue with the sink and toilet so gonna put it down to that so no need to look under the bath which is what the estate agents/landlord is hearing. Why look when it would cost more money. They’ve been pretty quick for plumbers in reality they’re meant to be coming and fixing it today hopefully!
UPDATE: So a different plumber man came and replaced the tap in the sink and said he wasn’t told about the toilet but looks like it needs doing; but doesn’t look like it’s actively leaking at the moment. However they are going to be changing the taps in the bath at some point soon. However they’re not on rush order. So seems like problem with all three, or they just want matching taps but fixing at 3 different at different times
@Poppie glad to see they acted fast!! Don’t forget to keep on at them if they’re not forthcoming with coming back x
@Sophie yeah being pregnant with a toddler already helps a little I believe. But after having a bath this evening it’s leaked as I’ve unplugged it sooo. Im right with there being an issue with it 😬🥹🥹🥹
I would take the panel off and see, after repairing the ceiling and pipework to risk missing something will be an issue in the long term. We had a leak from pipework under our bath and our ceiling caved too.
