have you tried some warm water?
@Haley his tummy isn't hard. He does have moments where he seems like it bothers him, but they don't last longer than ten minutes. No crying over it. Random attempts to push that also don't last long. Honestly have never used the windis yet. I'm so scared by them đ
I was nervous using the Windis with my first but my 2nd had major gas and constipation issues and that helped sooo much!!
@Jennifer like giving him warm water to drink?
Yep, only a few sips. Would always work when my little one was constipated
@Maddy did they have any reaction to the windi?
I had the same problem when my baby was around 3months. Someone told me to give baby water using a spoon and the trick worked. But before the water, I did exactly what youâre doing and nothing worked. In fact , mine went 8days without popping.
I gave my girl one of those Prune baby food pouches, and it worked great.
Is he breastfed? Breastfed babies donât poop as often and thatâs completely fine. My daughterâs doctors have asked about her poops so many times because sheâll poop like every 3-5 days, but then they learn that sheâs breastfed and theyâre like âoh okayâ But if it seems to bother your baby you can give him tummy massages with a medium amount of pressure but they have to be done in the clockwise direction in circles to work the poop down his intestines for him. Hope that helps!
@Keara he is combo fed and comfort nursed. Thank you, I didn't know direction matters!
I had similar problem with my 7 month old, and Apple+prune puree helped him along with lots of tummy time and tummy massages. I usually follow the âI Love Youâ massage. One more thing my doctor suggested was to give Apple juice (~2oz) every other day. That might have helped too.
My LO started struggling majorly with constipation when she turned a year and went onto cows milk, left it for a while, finally contacted drs. He said rice and bananas make it worse- so havenât been giving her those. Blueberries though!! Life saver! Try giving him some blueberries. đ«
Prune puree
Lactalose Is a good thing. But, we got that prescribed by our doctors because of the uncomfortableness from her.

hmm, that sounds tough, maybe try some tummy time or a warm bath, sometimes that helps get things moving! this is what the 'Heal Baby Care App' mentioned⊠hope it helps! "It sounds like you're doing a great job trying various methods to help your baby. For infants, sometimes adding a small amount of pureed prunes or pears can help with constipation, as they are natural laxatives. Additionally, ensure he's well-hydrated, especially if he's started solids. If he hasn't had a bowel movement in a few days, you might also try gently massaging his tummy in a clockwise direction or using a warm compress on his belly to help relax his muscles.
He pooped so much yesterday!!! Thank you all for the advice!!! So relieved right now.
What did you give him to get him to poop? My lo is so backed up and in so much pain from having little pasty poos all day

Does he seem to be in pain? Or is his belly hard? My baby had a really hard time when she was little. At day 5 of no poop, our doctor had us do a suppository. It helped. We have also used the Frida windi thing. Just make sure not to use these interventions too much. Doc said it could make things worse in the long run
