Yup usually while I’m cooking for him as I can’t cook and entertain at the same time. When you’re on your own you have to get creative 😂 my little one loves ms apple (the British version of ms Rachel) x
Yep 30 mins of nursery rhymes can allow me to get something done 😂 I used to put cbeebies on for my eldest when he was a baby and from Mr tumble (and us practicing) he started signing from a really young age, he learned so much from it. And it helped with his speech!
Before I had kids I said I wouldn’t let them watch tv but now I have one it’s a different story 😂 I only really do it if she’s really kicking off and nothing works to calm her down or like you say if I need to get something done but it’s mostly always the last resort. I put nursery rhymes on, ms Rachel, sensory stuff or stories
Thanks ladies, it gives me comfort knowing I'm not the only one doing this! X
Look at @uschooler on instagram. He rates TV shows for kids and looks at many different aspects of the show and how good they are for children. It seems the slower paced old school animations are less harmful. I put the Tv on for the first time the other day and put Tweedy and Fluff on for my little girl when I’d burnt myself and needed to run it under the tap. He’d rated it highly and it really was such an innocent, inoffensive show xx
I do the same, mine is obsessed with mr bean though but I do also put ms Rachel on xx
