I have the embrace and love it! Super comfy for me and baby and easy enough to use
Do you have a sling library near you so you can try out different carriers? I would suggest doing this before spending money on one. I have the ergobaby Omni 360 and I like that it feels supportive and comfortable and it is very quick and easy to get baby in and out. But it is quite bulky, I don't find it comfortable at all for back carrying or forward facing so only ever used it with baby on my front facing me and it does not last the length of time it says it will. I find I can use it from around 2 months and before then it's too big and then by 18 months my eldest has completely outgrown it and I had to get a new carrier.
I have the ergobaby omni 360 cool air mesh (kindly gifted from my partners best friend). I only have a sling to compare it to but I have to admit that its so easy to use (once youve figured it out first time round) and so easy to adjust to babys height and inward/outward facing. I have a prolapsed disc in my lower back and the back support on it is great. I also sweat very easily and I dont sweat in this compared to a sling x
This is the one I have, my baby is 10m and 24lbs and I back carry him to walk my dog for an hour every day and my back doesn't hurt! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/135543380781?mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5338365712&toolid=20006&customid=CjwKCAjwtdi_BhACEiwA97y8BCCB1MFuBvMd4PwRwfWCHsJXcnVcY7oQcvNoeE44r3Upa4esMmHK5hoCJzUQAvD_BwE|null|null&gclid=CjwKCAjwtdi_BhACEiwA97y8BCCB1MFuBvMd4PwRwfWCHsJXcnVcY7oQcvNoeE44r3Upa4esMmHK5hoCJzUQAvD_BwE I love my sleepy nico for front carrying and it was used all day every day from 2-7m!
I have the omni one. I love it
Thank you so much everyone 🙏
We have the 360 omni and have loved it since my little girl was about 8 weeks old, before that I had her in a sling. We still use it now at 14 months ☺️
@Jessica thanks so much! Was baby too small for it as a newborn? I used my baby Bjorn carrier so much when my first was a newborn, so thinking I’d like to use a carrier again for this baby
I never tried it but apparently it’s fine for newborns! It’s so adjustable and I believe for a newborn the headrest can be folded inwards to offer more support. I just remember getting it out of the box and I didn’t have a clue what I was doing with it so I stuck to using the sling until i felt a bit more confident. It’s really comfy and supportive though and I haven’t had any problems with back/shoulder pain even now when she’s a lot bigger, definitely worth the investment
I don't have personal experience with ergobaby. But I'm I classic model looks pretty solid
