Prunes
Pears, peaches, prune/apple juice, avoid bananas and starches like rice and cereal (especially ones high in iron). I know it’s hard to see them like that though, good luck 🫶
I steam some apples and prunes then blend them into an applesauce
And make sure baby is drinking plenty of fluids!
Girl I am going through the same thing right now my baby is having it so rough I’m trying add more water into her day and at least 2-3 servings of fruit as well I am trying so hard but it’s not seeming to help I stress so hard about it cause I know it’s so hard on her too
More water and I give my baby who used to have constipation issues a smoothie with blueberries each day and that solved it. Prunes and others made him too gassy.
I just finished going through this I was so worried I was about ready to take little man to get a suppository I was seriously worried!! What helped for me was yogurt with probiotics, probiotics make them poop, my baby went from super hard super dark pebble like stools to soft brown ones again!!! Several times a day at first too!! I got the stony field brand!
@Abbie you have no idea how much this just helped me I am DEFINITELY giving this a try!! Thank you
Is he still breastfeeding or you switched already to whole milk? If yes, too much whole milk can be a cause of constipation.
@Abbie I have given him that brand of yogurt but I will have to look for the probiotics one. Thanks!
@Csilla it started before I switched too though
Prune juice, foods that start with P and today I found that juice alone will help.
Omniblue mineral drops and MCT oil! My boy is regular now after having severe constipation for months.
Lots of water before bed and after every solid meal

I increase the juice in my kids drink. I do 75% water and 25% juice. When I see that she’s constipated, I increase it to 30-35% and that helps.
My daughter’s doctor said any fruit starting with “p” helps with constipation
