I hated baby wearing!! I would get a yoyo. They are super light and fold away easily in a small flat - they are used from birth up until 5 if needed. They are not cheap so if watching spending then get a second hand one and buy new wheels if needed, They are currently on sale on natural baby shower for £479 Perfect for navigating London and for flying!! They also fit down the aisle of the bus at the front rather than the side door
We have Joolz aer+ and can 100% recommend. Similar category as yoyo which is also good but we preferred the joolz it looks/feels less tiny (we are both tall) and the bassinet isn’t as close to the ground - but it still folds up just as small and is as light. Once we got it we stopped using our other pram almost completely. Folds up for storage super easily and easy to carry up and down stairs with baby/toddler inside (and I’m not that strong). You can try them both out in John Lewis.
Also have a Joolz Aer, we live on the first floor. Was initially looking at the yoyo also but it beats it hands down in my opinion.
I would baby wear for the first 6-7m solely until baby gets too heavy to wear all the time and that’s when you can get the pram. It’s good for you too, makes us use our core more after birth and keeps baby nice and close so strangers don’t touch him/her unnecessarily.
