For baby!!
You can do what you want with your baby. Do you want to vaccinate or do you want to space them out like you mentioned or not vaccinate at all. Is ur family pushing it???. I’m a bit confused by your question you asked. So I’m looking for some clarification to help you feel heard
I keep getting videos from them about how some vaccines are not good and they tell me i “shouldn’t be doing this one” or the famous words “I wouldnt do it” but I’m a ftm and my head is in scrambles about the whole topic
@Melanie okay I understand completely, i will say that I don’t vaccinate anymore only because my child had an injury from them. Every child reacts differently to them most don’t have reactions but some do based on genetics honestly, it’s best to do as much research as you can and follow your gut. Most drs won’t allow you to space them out the could kick you out of the practice (it’s happened to me for spacing them out) but they can’t force the shots into your child it’s ultimately ur choice (I’m just letting you know my experience) Best advice I have to a new mom is do as much research as possible (Podcasts of drs on YouTube that aren’t bought out by pharmaceutical industry) (read the vaccine insert card, not the paper the drs give you what come inside the vaccine box) it’s not easy but you have to make this decision we (other moms) can’t tell you what you should or shouldn’t do for your baby and I mean that in the most loving way possible
Trust your gut.. I’ve had people/family distance themselves from me bc I chose to vaccinate my child, it’s your choice not anyone else’s. we have to travel internationally to see family so it was really the best option for my child and our situation, everyone’s situation is different and with research you can make an informed decision on what’s best for your child. BUT be careful where you get the information because a lot of sources are very conspiratorial and hateful towards vaccines instead of giving you facts to make the decision yourself, I would try to find a non bias platform to get your information to avoid being swayed one way or the other without knowing the facts. Also in my experience most traditional pediatricians will require it so that’s also something to consider to make sure you find the right doctor for your baby once you make that decision!
We’re very much a pro vaccine family, with allowances made for certain conditions (ie my brother who has asthma does better with the nasal flu vaccine instead of a shot). My Grammy caught polio a few years before the Salk polio vaccine was available, and she wasn’t able to walk or dance or do many of her favorite things from the age of 15 onward. She was a strong and determined woman, but a clear example of the risks carried with not getting vaccinated / a lack of herd immunity. We also have a family friend who’s uncle went blind and deaf because of measles (he was a staunch antivaxxer and never got his MMR vaccines). Please get vaccines for yourself and your baby, not only to protect the two of you but also those in your community.
Doctors have already taken into account that the benefits outweigh the risks. I was very conflicted on if I should get my first vaccinated. I asked all the questions, did all the research and ultimately decided it was better to vaccinate. The only vaccines I will not do for my children are Covid and flu. I don’t do the flu because usually they infect you with the flu giving you the vaccine and my kids have only gotten it once without a vaccine. We are very holistic with herbs and that has helped my family greatly. Good luck Mamas!
As far as vaccines, for you or your baby?
