Health visitor
My health visitor is a bit late and I have my first meeting with her on Tuesday. What type of things do they ask/ do? She said it could last an hour depending on how chatty we are. I’ll be 38 + 4 and I do not have the energy 😅

@Gaby ahh that is annoying! And not good to mess to around. To be honest, mine rang in Monday morning and asked if she could come round in a few mins as they said they’d had a cancellation so I said no, I’m working x
I had the health visitor app. today and basically she was just getting all the details about us finding out how we’re doing, giving us some basic information about what’s going on after the baby’s here. She said it’ll only be 30 minutes and stayed 45 minutes at the end. Considering it is our second baby, it seemed too much, but I guess they have to go through everything.

It will only last that long if you have a lot of questions/are chatty and I doubt they’ll be offended if you’re not. Mine has annoyed me this time around as they’ve made multiple appointments with me, missed every single one without notice and then called me a day or two later to reschedule without even an apology. So I’ve been ignoring their calls because I’m fed up of being messed around. They don’t offer anything groundbreaking. Just want to meet you, ask if you feel prepared, see whether you have any questions and that seems to be all 🤷🏻♀️
