Gas pains

My nearly 3 week old is constantly crying after a feed with gas pain. I’ve used infacol for a week now, burp her after every ounce and sit her upright for 20/30 mins after every feed but still she’s suffering with gas pain, she will wake up from her naps crying from pain and I’ve been trying a dummy for 3 weeks now but her tongue tie I think is affecting her holding it? Should I contact my doctor as her tongue tie might be causing gas pain or maybe reflux and it’s causing her pain

I feel the same and dont know what to do

@Lisa I’m at a loss with what to do, I don’t know if it’s tongue tie or reflux or gas

@Jasmine this is me to!

My little one has colic too. Doctor told me to use colief drops, which I have been using. I see some improvement, but some days she is still in pain. Doctor also said with colic it is the case that they have to grow out of it, which is very disheartening to hear and awful to see your baby in such pain, when there is nothing you can do. You could try gripe water instead of infacol, but it’s really messy and my little one did not get on with it. I found it was interrupting her feeding and she wouldn’t continue her bottle after, so I stopped using it as i felt it wasn’t making much difference anyway.

My daughter had tongue tie, we had it snipped but didn't have an effect on gas. Have you tried gripe water? Personally I think infacol does nothing, gripe water is amazing. Failing that, Dentinox colic drops is amazing too, you can put it in their bottles too so no battle with a syringe x

@Clarissa I have a bottle of it but my HV said not to use it until 1 month old. But I might try it and see if it works as infacol is doing nothing
