Anyone else REALLY thirsty?!

My check was normal but I've been thirsty. And headachey if I don't drink a ton. But that said- call the midwife x

Same, crazy thirsty. Really hope I dont end up with GD, my partner is T1 diabetic. It woulf be too ironic. I know its based on the placenta, but still

It could be the warmer weather? Try not to think of the worst. Just try and drink little and often. I was getting loads of headaches towards the beginning of my first trimester. Fingers crossed for you x

Thats what I keep telling myself, it's possibly just that it's warmer pretty sure all the extra water I'm drinking is going to my fat feet though 🤣

I find that if I only drink water I am sooo thirsty. I try to drink coconut water daily and it helps x

I think this can be normal! Your body needs more fluids than usual to accommodate for baby x

@PeggyK I have the same issue! Partner is T1, placenta comes from the father so technically could make you have GD.... I'm getting my glucose test on 29th. I'm really thirsty all the time, need to pee ALOT, tired, all the classic symptoms and I've done my own testing and I'm bordering high

@PeggyK it's apparently a miniscule chance but can happen... I pushed to get tested cos they weren't originally going to test me, hopefully I don't have it x
