@Jessica yeah I test twice a day. As I can be low in the morning and then be high by the afternoon/evening. I usually test twice a day. Before the low I usually get the peak after a few days of high and then low the rest of the cycle but it's just been high for a couple of days no peak and then low throughout the rest of my cycle
It sounds like PCOS with several highs through your cycle and a high right after your period. I would go to the doctor, they can do blood work to see if you are actually ovulating. I do want to add to not get fixated on the number. My peak was a .7, and I was being monitored for IUI. So I know I was ovulating lol. As long as the darkness of the lines match that's a positive. I never get several tests in a row that the line matches though. Some people have a slow LH surge and some have a rapid one.
@Incognito I've not been doing it that way. I've got the digital clear blue with the smilies. Which I've found to be reliable and obvs discharge. Don't know how to use the strips 😅
Oh okay, just my two cents, I would still check with your OB, women don't typically get highs right after their period. Good luck! 💕
Wen i was testing on clear blue ovulation tests it took me 5 days till I had a flashey smiley face to appear after my period had finshed. before that it was a 0 and it took second time to conceive from it too :) first time didn't work but second time using it , it did now I'm pregnant x
But it does say. 1st time or second time using it u will conceive n I did
@Ellie-May it took me just shy of 2 years to convince my first and that's using these ovulation tests. I was only 25 when I first started trying. So I'm worried it's going to take another year or so for my second 😏
Oh right I caught straight away with my first but I was 17 , second pregnancy I was 31 , and now I'm gana be 33 with my 3rd I didn't do ovulation tests before untill my 3rd pregnancy. I breast fed for 9 weeks as my son was so lazy lol so got on the bottol. Then I got married a few months after given birth so stress then on honeymoon got a tampon stuck inside me for a month And didn't know. As I was drinking alot. N then it lictually just came put one night wen I pushed out a massive wee I was lucky I didn't die. Then we were just trying boots shitty ovulation tests didn't work then we payed that bit extra for the clear blue ovulation test n it worked second time but I think it worked cause me n my husband have been aguring alot n we both sed we didn't want it and then bam it came up pregnant so as soon as we both didn't want it after a year having our son lucas it just happened now I'm all over the place.
Do you keep testing after it’s high and goes low again? Because you probably are ovulating but probably not till CD 20. LH naturally fluctuates throughout your cycle and sometimes your body can have several rounds of high LH that don’t get quite high enough to actually ovulate so it takes the body a few tries. In this cycle test once a day throughout your cycle, when it gets high test twice a day. Look out for egg white cervical mucus that’s slippery shiny and will stretch more than an inch. That could be a good indicator that you’re entering your fertile window too.
