@Lauren I know she’s a girl I’ve seen the potty shots from private scans but I feel like I won’t believe it till it’s been confirmed by the nhs 😂😂
We got the gender written down on a piece of paper after the second scan and kept it in an envelope :) You can totally express any concerns you have at the scan too but they will say if they can’t see clear enough!
Not sure if it's different in some areas but in mine they are not allowed to tell you the gender at any NHS scan. Worked out well for me as I want it to be a surprise but must be frustrating for others. I've heard that sometimes they will sneakily tell you anyway if you ask 😅
I had a growth scan on Tuesday and they asked me if I knew the gender which I didn’t and she asked if we wanted to know so I assume that she would have told us if we had asked ☺️
They should be able to confirm if you asked. I had a growth scan today at 29+3 and they confirmed the gender. They’re not allowed to say ‘it’s definitely a boy/girl’ though, they can only say ‘they think’ x
I just don’t want them to write anything in the notes which I’m gonna presume they don’t 😂 just in case their wrong as my partner doesn’t want to know if I know the gender or not x
They shouldn’t write anything in the notes as i don’t think they’re allowed too. X
At my growth scan the scanner asked if I knew what I was having and when in that area just went ‘there you go, definitely still a boy’ didn’t write nothing on the scan report or my notes about the sex of baby xx
The bits are often very obvious in a growth scan. Even our little girl was very clear to see 😂 we were asked if we knew what we were having, and this was confirmed. I think it’s harder to not say anything when they are so obvious at this stage.
I can't see why they would tell you as it should all be very visible now!
