I had my son at 20 x i was pregnant at 19 it might seem like you wont have anyone to relate to and it is hard to make friends but youll be absolutely fine, I’ve struggled to find friends but thats due to my lack of social skills rather than nobody wanting to be my friend 😂 i did find it hard getting involved since most people at baby groups were much older than me but they were always lovely and welcoming x congratulations on the pregnancy you can do this x I got an early scan at 8weeks but when i went i was actually 11weeks so i technically tried to have an early scan 😂 id recommend it if you wanted peace of mind it couldn’t hurt
I found out i was pregnant with my first at 19 and had him at 20! once you get over that social anxiety at first you’ll find you make new mum friends! we started going to our first toddler class when my son was one and i was so nervous but he’s got lots of friends the same age now and we still connect outside of classes to🤞🏻 it’s such a nervous time for mums and i felt like i would be judged for being young but age won’t make you any less of a good mum🤍xx
@Lauren thank you so much !! I’ll be the same I’m 20 next month so that’s so refreshing to hear ! If I’m honest I get on with people who are older than me more then my own age so that’s also freshing to hear ! Thankyou so so much ! Definitely going to book an early scan thankyou ❤️

Honestly, you make a different group of friends when you have a baby. I didn’t have many friends when I had my eldest as I’m not from where I live and worked out of the area too but the friends I made through baby groups just get where you are in that parenting journey!
