I used to do 2 times a week when my girl was newborn
We bath our babies every night or every other night. Youngest is 3 weeks and once he is around 4 weeks we will start bathing him every night. They all sleep so much better after a bath. We use lots of lotion and creams on our babies daily especially after a bath. Lotion in summer, creams in winter. I also grew up where you bath daily my parents said “if you pooped today, you bath today” hahah since babies have nasty poops and sometimes sit in it until they can be changed, not to mention spit up throughout the day, we find they can get smelly. And I have done just spot baths or top and tail baths… it’s just not the same in my opinion.
Every other day. If they have a bad poop or have spit up more that day, we would of course do an extra bath, but every day can dry out their skin.
I started everyday then every other day unless she had a bad poop. That’s what I did in the beginning and then I made breast milk soap it helped her skin a lot. I also have hard water
They don't need it more than every few days. Once a week even is fine. Newborns don't really get dirty or smelly, you can wipe up milk with a warm washcloth and clean their bums after a poop, but washing every day is pretty bad for their skin, especially if you have hard water. You may find you start washing them more as they start eating solid foods and spending time outside, but from someone who lives with chronic eczema, save your baby's skin as long as you can.
Every 3rd day unless he needs it sooner. He's been putting his food in his hair lately
I would do it every 2-3 days when he was that age, the days I didn’t bathe him I would clean him with mustella water on cotton pads and apply child’s farm moisturiser. If he had big poo explosions though on the days I’d typically not, I would bathe him x
I bathe mine once a week until they start getting into shit and messy. Then it’s more like 2-3 times or messy dinner nights whichever was more common. Baby’s don’t get messy or dirty or stink unless they have a blowout or spit up even then I’d do a quick sink wipe down unless he covered himself when he puked.
We did once a week until about 9 weeks, now we do twice a week. My LO is almost 12 weeks x
You can get a hard water softening filter for the shower head or the bath spout and use that water to fill her tub so the water y’all are bathing in and showering in, is softened and filtered. For you too. Because it dries out OUR hair and skin too, hard water is awful for showering in.
When mine are smaller, I would give a real bath every other day, but I always made sure to give a sponge bath in between. In my opinion, it’s important to clean the little crevices—such as the neck, behind the ears, hands, and private areas—daily to prevent rashes, yeast infections, and other issues. I saw someone mention Mustela water, and that’s also a great option. Having good moisturizers and ointments is just as important too.
We did twice a week. Unless something dirty happened. At least that's what we did until baby got old enough to ask for a bath every night.
I bathe every other day with a baby lotion straight after the bath. We have hard water too so we started using some of the milk that had passed its use date to also soften and moisturizer skin. They say you can do the same in the water with coconut oil or olive oil!
By two months I started bathing my baby every day. I found his bum was getting raw when I didn’t bath him often enough even with thorough wiping.

My baby is 11 weeks old I give her a bath 2x a week. I give her a wipe down if I feel life we were out all day or if k notice a lot of milk may have gotten under her neck. But I moisturize her 3x a day. Hard water can affect babies skin try bottle or just make sure to keep baby moisturized.
I bathe my son once a week as well unless he had a poop explosion or throws up all over himself. His skin was also getting super dry as well. He’s 2 months as of yesterday. I use the Mustela cleansing water every morning and night for days we don’t bathe him. We also stay home and don’t leave the house. I feel like you should do what’s right for you.
We bath our LO three times a week and use moisturiser twice a day, a filer may help with the hard water
