I tell my 12 year old bless you when she burps lol

i just say “oh good one” 😂 i feel weird calling children good girl/boy. makes me feel like im treating them like a dog

My daughter is two and I still say good burp

I’ve 3 & 1 year boys so we try not to make a big fuss over things like that and just say “oh - excuse me or excuse you”. My 3 year old will now respond saying pardon with a little giggle. I’ve accepted that being a boy mum these things in time will become hilarious to them😅

Praising for burping?

@Jelena did you not praise them as a newborn?

For burping? No.. it’s normal to burp? I’m with what Emily said I’d say excuse you or something but not well done or praise them, tf?

@Jelena it's so strange to me most people I no say well done to newborns I thought everyone did it I didn't realise some people don't

I’ve been working with kids and babies for over 8 years… alongside parents for hours and hours on end and not once have I heard them praise their baby 🤣🤣
