Baby stools

My little 4 month old boy is breastfed and he hasn’t had a stool of any significance for a few days now, should this be concerning?

If there are no stools for over a day I’d be concerned. Formula does produce more stools and the most important are wet diapers! Does he have wet diapers? At least 4-6

@Kamila Yeah he has loads of wet diapers. he usually has big blowouts at least once a day that’s why it’s strange he hasn’t for a few days now

my little one (also breastfed) went from consistent stools to once every 7-9 days. This latest for roughly a month. Completely normal. Once you are at 10 plus days, that’s when you should be a little concerned. As long as there is enough wet nappies (4-6 a day) and isn’t showing signs of discomfort, you have nothing to be worried about.

Normal . My 3 month old can go sometimes close to 4-6 days without pooping . As long as they still having consistent wet diapers and not in pain its completely normal for breastfed babies .

Wouldn’t worry at all totally normal my son sometimes goes 5 days between poops. As long as when baby does go, stool is not hard, then you’re all good.

thank you, that’s reassuring to know!
