Heart murmur
Anyone else’s baby diagnosed with a heart murmur at their 8 week check? If so what’s happened? I’ve been told it can mean nothing as it can be something they can grow out of or it could be a sign of a problem. We have an appointment on Tuesday with the Paediatrician but starting to worry about what’s to come more as the appointment gets closer. Google doesn’t help either 😵💫

Not the same but I found out I have a heart murmur as a young adult, they said if it's not causing any issues it's not a problem.
My little boy had a heart murmur at birth, he has had 2 check ups at the doctors since but they can no longer hear it. We were referred to a cardiologist just to make sure all is fine! My daughter also had one and grew out of it x
My husband was born with a heart murmur which self corrected The only issue he has is when he needs dental work or surgery, he tends to make them panic about painkillers/anesthetic

Our LO was diagnosed with a wandering heart pacemaker at a couple of days old and we're also told it's normally a condition they grow out of. Recently had a 3 month checkup and given the all clear. I know it's not the exact same scenario, but I understand the worry about heart conditions.
