It's Friday -Let's give flowers
My Nana (Granny) - used to care for ALL the grandkids for the whole summer. And she did not buy the NAME BRAND soda- (ex. Pepsi ) because we drink it up too fast.
Instead she would make Kool aid and buy Seltzer water. And if we wanted soda- we would mix them together.
Today I love seltzer water. And every time I buy it ... It reminds me of her. R.I.P Nana

I don’t buy it but every time we would go see my grand daddy, he’d tickle us by kissing our necks and saying “mmmmmmm that’s some good suga “ now I do that with my ticklish baby boy and he loves it. Every time I do it, I think of my grand dad and I just love the way my son laughs when I do it. Brings back good memories 🥹

When I started college, I didn’t like having breakfast. My cousin introduced me to on the go breakfasts like granola, blueberries, strawberries & yogurt in a mason jar 🫙🫐🍓 Or smoothies, or quick egg & hash brown wraps 🫔 She tragically passed away during the first covid lockdown 🥀 I’ve always remembered her first thing in the morning with her easy & healthy breakfast ideas 🫶🏻
