Faint positive?

We’re currently trying to conceive for our 3rd little one, and got very faint positives yesterday (two top tests/1st pic in comments). It’s hard to get in the photo, but definitely faint second lines. Tested again first thing this morning expecting to be a bit darker but I don’t see one at all (bottom two tests/2nd pic in comments). Wondering if anyone sees something I don’t? Have other people’s tests fluctuated like this early on? With my last two I got faint positives very early and only got clearer with passing time, so showed my husband the two faint positives yesterday and he wasn’t as convinced - now I’m questioning too 🫠

Were the faint positives within the timeframe that you check (3-5 mins) If they were after they could have been evaporation lines, however if they were within the time frame and then negative the next day, it could have been a chemical pregnancy, I had one right before I conceived my second baby

@Francesca They were within the 5 minutes. I’ve heard of a chemical pregnancy but not real familiar with it, from what I’ve heard it’s where your mind tricks your body into thinking it’s pregnant - is that the basic idea?

No, so with a chemical pregnancy the positive is real, it’s classed as a very early miscarriage, so early that it’s usually missed completely and most people won’t have tested and will think they are just getting their period as normal. So if this is the case, I’m very sorry. A miscarriage is difficult regardless of how far along you are. It’s usually due to an abnormality with the embryo but the cause isn’t known for sure as medically they don’t class it as a miscarriage if it’s before the time they can detect a heartbeat. If it makes you feel better I fell pregnant the very next month after my chemical 🤞🏼

@Francesca Oh okay, definitely misunderstood what it was! I appreciate you explaining it to me. I did have two early miscarriages in the past so that could be the case 😕
