@Deena ooh tell me about it! Was it difficult? How long did you labor for? I’m trying to do it unmedicated and I’m a little scared haha I’ll be 39w5 tomorrow so I’m bracing myself even though today at my drs I was 4cm and 80% effaced I’m worried she’s going to wanna bake a little longer in there lol

@Mari I labored for about 7 hours total. It was difficult but it was more of a mind game than anything else! I was able to feel everything and follow my body’s lead. The contractions themselves weren’t awful and just felt like bad period cramps. I breathed slowly as best I could and counted my breath through each contraction, and told myself how each one brings me closer to meeting my baby. I think I pushed for 20 mins total but it was very intense. I would definitely recommend! It’s very empowering! If you have any more questions feel free to reach out!
