I’m planning on getting a wrist one if she’s a runner
i love the wrist least because it sorta helps them practice holding hands while walking/doing things. my son holds hands while we’re out and listens just fine now because he knows otherwise we will put the leash on lol
See which one works best. It might be she likes the backpack more if it’s a character one.
I never used one and absolutely wouldn’t with my children but am not against others using it if they feel it’s necessary. I’ve always advised friends that as soon as your child starts walking, get them out, giving them instructions so they’re used to listening to you, start road safety form a young age, when they’re in the pram facing forwards 6 months + make a thing of saying look left etc… sure there’ll be times when they try to run off as a toddler but as long as you’re close enough to grab them, all good. With that being said they do nice backpack ones of different animals. Check vinted x
I love the little backpack one we have, my lo still holds my hand with it on its just an extra safety added on. Plus we can put her snacks in it 😄
I have a unicorn bookbag. My 4yr old always running. I used to be big on the leashes til my my baby be sprinting off and she fast. I don’t like how the wrist one be looking my opinion.
@Gemma I love it, they be carrying they’re own snacks and drinks
On amazon there is 1 called hobled he hoo. I think they are very good i use this for my son who is audhd and will run at any given chance. It has 3 tyoes where you can hold close in crowded areas then 2 different lol longer straps all attached. 😊
They have small and larger sizes
