Weaning and Milk intake

My almost 7m old is still taking 5 full milk feeds a day of 210ml, takes a little bit of food when offered at meal times but not loads. HV has told me to reduce milk intake so he will eat more? Wondered if anyone else has done this or been advised this? I thought they dropped milk in their own time once eating more. Although I don’t really see how he will never be massively hungry when so full from milk? Help 🤣

No advise but we are the same! Baby girl is still taking 5 full feeds. She currently eats breakfast and an afternoon snack, sometimes dinner if we’re making dinner early but she barely actually eats any of it she just chews on it and puts it down🤣

Don’t drop their milk. They will do it on their own when they need to x

Yes we have been told this too. My son currently has 5 feeds of about 180ml and a bit of breakfast. He's on the 98th centile so she's concerned about him increasing in weight
