I did really badly and it’s because I’d hit a blood vessel as no one showed me how to do it. Avoid that leg for a while and use the other one and your stomach to inject instead. Keep an eye on the bruise to make sure it’s not still growing.
I havent used but my sister in law took them and they bruised her quite badly. The whole point is to thin the blood which in turn, will cause easier bruising. As long as you're not getting COVERED in unexplained bruises its normal
Thank you 🙏 felt like I was doing somthing wrong 🫶🏻🫶🏻
My stomach is currently all shades of bruised due to them, I had a pulmonary embolism in Jan when I was 28 weeks pregnant so been on them since then, I’m also very lumpy
I get MASSIVE painful lumpy bruises on my legs. Only ever do it in my tummy now, only tiny little bruises :)
when on blood thinners you will naturally bruise far easier. i’m a social care professional and a lot of my clients take thinners, it’s very common x p.s as the blood is thin it flows easier and takes longer to clot so will ‘pool’ under the skin causing the bruise whereas non thinned blood will clot faster and a bruise will be less visible.
I had little bruises all over and I also had to do it for 6 weeks with my first. Was all in my stomach after a section as they told me that was the only place to do it. With my second I had a 10 day course and was told I can do it in my stomach butt or leg, I chose butt lol, still bruised though.
