Nexplynon vs iud

I just resecently got the nexplynon after having 5 iuds (all 5 my body rejected after a year) next week ill have it for 2 weeks. Ive had iuds since i had my daughter who will be 5 in august i feel so much more relazed and my body just feels calm tbh idk why i feel so normal instead of on edge all the time. After 5 years of trying to get my aggresion undercontrol i dont feel angry all the time i dont feel oversinulated as easy it is alot easier to get up and wake up im not depressed i feel back to how i did before my daughter minus being supper depressed and suicidal and addicted to pills. I dont have the urges anymore i feel perfectly normal and its weird.

Loveddd my nexplanon it lasted 5 years and me and my now husband were having unprotected sex up to 3 years before getting it out and never got pregnant on it!!

I actually had the opposite happen to me, no side effects from iud but terrible side effects with nexplanon.

I got the nexplynon just bc i needed somthing other then pills untill i get my tubes tied after i turn 21 wich sont be untill june. Bc of how risky it is for me to have another baby

i loved my nexplanon, i’ve had it every time i’ve had contraception it’s my absolute fave and my go to!

I felt the same after getting my iud removed after having it for 5 years ! I’m not on any bc now, but iud definitely caused a lot of emotional and mental turmoil over the years that I ended up trying a plethora of antipsychotics/ mood stabilizers etc when all I had to do was get my iud removed lol

I hated my nexplanon. I got super depressed on it and bleed constantly.

Only had 3 lots of nexoplan. First time nothing at all,no periods. Last 2 and one being current one,irregular periods and sometimes can last 10 days,and terrible mood swings
