Stopped Milk?

Had anyone else completely stopped Milk/Bottles?? My LB stopped showing interest in his bottle at bedtime so I dropped it completely- he has never really taken to drinking milk in a normal cup so since about 14ish months we have stopped all milk/bottles & he doesnt seem phased by it & loves drinking his water! He gets milk in his cereal/porridge every day & likes his yogurts and other dairy.. is this enough - worried im depriving him of nutrients🙈

Mine weaned off the breast at 11.5 months and because nursery do cows milk after nap time we then just introduced that in the morning when we go downstairs and then after his nap. Never at bedtime as didn’t want to make that a “thing” / part of the routine. Sometimes he drinks a lot, other times hardly any but he gets cheese/ yogurt / milk in his diet

If your little one gets milk in their food then they don’t need to drink milk 😌

My son still has a bottle in the morning but won’t finish it but will drink it through out the day if I offer it to him we stoped his night time bottle about a month ago as he had no interest anymore - as long as they are getting calcium which from what you have said he is so I wouldn’t be worried about it

We still give 6oz in morning and 6oz at night off normal cows milk x

My little boy still loves a bottle in the morning and before bed. It's the first thing he looks for when he wakes up! Is this ok? Should we be phasing this out?

I’d say as long as they are getting milk with food, yogurts and cheese etc like you mentioned they will be 100%

I do still offer it morning and night but more often than not she won’t drink it maybe a few sips. Usually ends up tipping it everywhere so constantly washing floors and bedding 🫣 she’s also now off porridge was even eating cereal but now with only eat that without milk. We’re really going through a fussy stage 😩

@Becky i dont think it needs to be phased out! My LB wasnt interested in it anymore was barley taking 1/2oz so i replaced with supper instead & he eats it all! My nieces/nephew had their bobos until they were well over 2 X

Thanks everyone! 🤍
