Just venting

Full time stay at home mama of 1.5 year old twin girls. Planned a night out with my bestie and it fell through. Details don’t really matter. Just annoying. Only happens to me . Am I allowed to say that this is one of the hardest things about motherhood? It never stops for us . Bd comes and goes , friends are out and about , and I’m here where I always am just being a mom , because god forbid I try and plan a night out to enjoy myself of course it falls through. It may not seem like a big deal to most , and I love my girlies 💕💕💕but i think when things like this don’t work out for us moms it’s a bigger deal than we like to admit . All day and all night I’m home , with my kids . I just wanted one night to myself. That’s it .

Girl… facts. I feel this. I have a 2.5 year old and a 6 month old and it’s been a tough week.

@Patrice even harder when everyone asks you to be understanding of their situation and I’m like “you understand I get to go out maybe twice a year right?” Lol we deserve time to ourselves just like everyone else , if not more because we’re constantly doing for everyone else all the time . I swear if I ever live a life of my own it’ll be once my girls are grown lol because at this rate . Hahah

I know how you feel 😭 since I’ve been moving a lot - I made an effort with new mamas that have kids and we managed a night out! So far it worked for all of us on a weekend and it was lovely. 🥰 It’s going to happen, I promise you! If night outs don’t work, try brunch for three hours or so! Hopefully that’s helpful in some way 😭🫂

People just don't understand how truly hard motherhood actually is.....they fail to understand it because they don't have to go through it so it doesn't apply to them. Of course on the outside looking in it's so easy for someone to stay "everything is going to be ok, children are a blessing, enjoy it while you can, yada yada" it's like yes but everyone needs a break. Just like you get a break from work, you get some outside free time....mothers need the same respect.....we are everything for everybody. But who is there for us ?? Yes ma'am your feelings are valid and you so deserve a breather 💯❤️

How and why did it fall through? Can you reschedule to this weekend?? I know it’s gonna be a long week but at least you have something to look forward to, this weekend. I have plans this Friday night and honestly I can’t wait.
