Birth control shot
If you took the birth control shot(depo) for over a year, how long did it take you to get pregnant afterwards? Did anyone get pregnant while on it?

Still trying after 2 1/2 years. I had to start metformin to regulate my cycle, but I also was diagnosed with pcos as well.
6 months but I was told it could take at least a year for fertility to go back to normal I think its unlikely for you to become pregnant while on it but its not 100% so not impossible but very unlikely x
My periods stopped completely on depo and I still do not get them unless I’m taking medication (fertility meds or birth control). I do have pcos but prior to the depo I did get periods pretty regularly but not like to the day like some women can time them if that makes sense.
