Universal credits & child benefit there is an app called entitled to that you can see what else you may be able to get x

You can get housing element rent paid, child element and uc element for not working, this is fine until child is 3. Once they three you are expected to seek work for your money.

I am currently enjoying all my time with my two year old, I plan on getting business going by end of summer and not going to work for anyone again

It's worth doing an online chat with CAB theyll do a UC estimate with your my sister in law says it not the most accurate but if it says you'll get something worth doing UC application as it might be higher. Home owner might complciate things but shouldn't rule you out. My inlaws are on UC and currently getting a council house despite owning 2 properties abroad they've been trying to sell
