Multiple nurses said she during scans with my first. I think they just use a random pronoun. It was a boy lol. I do think they should say they or them instead though!
@Ashley I agree! If I’ve asked not to know, just say “the baby” or “them”
I know someone who had this exact situation except the sonographer said "she" and it really didn't mean anything as she ended up having a boy and the lady just said a pronoun out of habit. I get why you'd be upset or overthinking it and the person I know did end up finding out the gender at another scan afterwards because of the slip up with the pronouns and wanting to know for sure as it was driving her crazy. It really could just mean nothing and eitherway itll be lovely for you when you do your reveal
My sister in law has this story in two scans with different people, one private and one through NHS , so she thought she was having a boy and it was a girl in the end. Is just how they call the baby, she thinks, is not link to the gender.
So many people do this out of habit. Don’t look into it too much (I know it’s hard not to) and enjoy your reveal. Thats more a celebration x
