Formula

Hi all, does anyone have any formula recommendations? I have no idea how to decide so any advice would be appreciated ☺️

Last time we used Cow + Gate ready to pour for about 2/3 months, then moved to Cow + Gate powdered after that. No issues.

Are you completely against breastfeeding or expressing? Ive saved an absolute fortune not having to buy formula with my LO so really hoping to continue this time too

We went for aptamil because it's the same ingredients as the aldi mamia which is £6.99 a tub. It meant that if we ever ran out the mamia and couldn't get hold of it we could get aptamil. He had cow and gate at the hospital because ours only offers sma or cow and gate but he didn't get on with it so was advised to switch =)

I came across this great post a while back just shows loads of baby formulas (quite a few are American I’m pretty sure) and which have any heavy metals in them which could be helpful to have a look at ☺️ I think I might go for the kendamil one! https://www.instagram.com/p/DHgVrP1sR8A/?igsh=MTE5Y2xla2RnaHBoOA==

We used kendamil last time that’s what we would go for again in a heartbeat ☺️

We used cow & gate with our first and will be doing the same with our second. We buy ours at costco as its cheaper to buy them in bulk

The only advice I would give is don’t bulk buy formula until you know the baby likes it/ doesn’t have any intolerances. We started on cow and gate and it didn’t help my daughters reflux so switched to kendamil and that really helped. I know some children find kendamil too rich so just try one out and if it works stick x

We’ve bought cow and gate pre made bottles just incase I can’t breast feed I don’t want to be stressing about getting formula with a hungry baby! I’m debating picking up some aldi mamia to try instead though

Nanny Care goat milk formula. To my knowledge it’s the best goat milk formula on the market and goat milk is more easily digested than cows milk as it closer resembles breast milk 😊

We used Kendamil with our first so will be trying with our second. Babies can be fussy and have intolerances so don’t be fixed on something and bulk buy
