Sorry I don’t have any answers but following as my midwife said my son does too but haven’t followed it up x

That seems a bit ridiculous! I also actually also don’t know, around us it’s the BF infant feeding team who refer for TT but I wouldn’t know for bottle. I guess private is always an option but that costs

With my first born who I breast fed, no one was interested as he was hitting all the milestones & gaining weight. We paid privately for it to be snipped, we used the below website for this. https://privatemidwives.com/tongue-tie/

@Victoria we used these too, really recommend

If you are happy to go private I was given this link by the health visitors and used someone I found on here - https://www.tongue-tie.org.uk/find-a-practitioner

My health visitor could refer when she thought my son had one, have you tried ringing them? x

I used the website Ellie has shared. We paid £280 and IT’s the best money I’ve ever spent xx

I'm sure you can still speak to infant feeding team if you aren't breastfeeding. In some trusts the waiting list for tongue tie assessments is extremely long though. You can also pay to go private, I believe it's around £60 if it turns out they don't need the procedure to cut the tie but if they do then it's £200 (or at least it was for us 3 years ago with our first). You can find a tongue tie service here: https://www.tongue-tie.org.uk/

I really struggled to get a midwife to agree that my son was tongue tied, took me 4 different midwife’s for one to finally say yes he did however they still didn’t refer him to get it snipped we ended up having to go private. Best thing we ever done as he was only drinking 1 OZ each bottle and it was taking him up to 3 hours to drink that 1OZ.. good luck 😊 xx

Well I'm not breastfeeding and haven't from day 2 but the midwives did ours ! Is ask gp or health visitor and go from there

Our health visiting team has specialist infant feeding practitioners who are trained in assessing and rectifying tongue tie - maybe have a look at the local HV website as we had my boy’s dive through them
