How old were your kids when you felt comfortable leaving them for a parents only vacation?

I guess pick the age of your youngest child at the time

My daughter will be 2.5, she’s staying with her grandparents that she absolutely adores and she stays with once a week since she’s been 18 months so we are very comfortable :) we’re going on an 18 day trip to Europe as a couple. Can’t wait!

My son is 5 months and we just got back from a 6 day trip to Mexico. He had a blast hanging out with my mom and we FaceTimed everyday.

I've kinda done the reverse. My parents have taken my oldest on vacations yearly with just the grandkids since she was about 4 and she's 12 now. Their next trip is at the end of June when my parents are taking my oldest and her cousin that's the same age to Carowinds in North Carolina.

5 months old for my son.

My first child was about 2-2.5 when we first went a weekend away for our anniversary trip. We now have two kids and youngest is 4 months old. We recently went on a weekend away trip for our anniversary.

It wasn’t a vacation but we went away for a wedding when my son was 3.

My daughter is 4 and I haven’t left her for more than 24 hours yet. I don’t think I’d feel comfortable until she’s a much older child 10+ maybe.

Probably not until she’s a teenager.

6 months we took a 5 day trip to Brugge and Amsterdam. I am sure she didn't notice. Second time we went to New York when she was 9 months. She was fine with my parents x

The first time I'll be apart from my 15-month-old overnight will be when I give birth to her baby sister 😅 but I said 2-5 out of hope lmao. I think I could be convinced if my mom or sister came to town to watch the kids, but I wouldn't trust a sitter overnight unless we knew them really really REALLY well.

We did a short trip for a weekend wedding at 11 months.

Single mum! No desire to go away with out my lo. She will always be invited

Our son had not long turned 2 when we got married. We didn't really see much of him during the wedding, he was very happy running around, with my fil. We then has 2 nights away. He was absolutely fine with my in laws. Next October I want to go to Venice for my 40th, so I'm hoping one set of grandparents will look after both kids for 3/4 days, our kids will be 5.5 and 2 then
