Sleeping bag for 5 month old

Can anyone help recommend a sleeping bag suitable for camping for a 5 month old? Everything I’ve seen online seems to post from outside the uk and was hoping to go away at the weekend.

I took my 4 month old away and dressed him in a long sleeve vest, fleece sleepsuit, and a 3.5 tog sleeping bag with detachable sleeves. It was a slumbersac one. I know you can buy outdoor sleeping bags from Morrison Outdoors, but I think they start at 6 months plus.

@Afton yeah I’d seen these and my 5 month old is tall enough to fit one already but it’ll take 2-4 weeks to come so he’d be 6 months anyway 😂 did you find they were warm enough and was it a recent trip?

It was last year, and he seemed absolutely fine, I took extra blankets just in case, and socks for his hands. I had my thermometer to check the temperature overnight as that was my main worry. Ah, that's typical that the sleeping bags would take so long to come! I haven't been camping this season yet, but I think it'll be harder now he's moving around!

We've taken our now 4 month old away a few times since Feb. We do have a camper but the heating doesn't stay on overnight so the temperature dropped to 10 degrees on the coldest night. The first time she was still swaddled, but I've more recently picked up a 3.5 tog JoJo Maman sleeping bag off vinted and plan to use that if we go when it's cold again. You can buy them new from places like Next which might deliver in time
