Part Time

Has anyone dropped to part time work instead of full time to spend more time with baby/kids? Just curious if it feels like you have more time with them or just pulled in all directions all the time. I’m considering a 3-day work week instead of full time.

I was able to find a new job that is 3x week instead of full time to allow for more time with baby and I am loving it!

I’m currently full time and I’m looking for more part time or something more like admin remote. If anyone has any ideas please let me know 😭

Yes I’m a nurse and I work 4 weekend days per month. I didn’t want to put baby in daycare.

I felt the same ! I'm only working part time 2 days a week & sometimes 3

I work 4 days a week and would love to go to 3 days a weeks but I carry the insurance and have to work a minimum of 30 hours. I'm hoping to do 3-10hr days once I am done breastfeeding.

Yes 3 day work week is what I aimed for in my job search and if I can maximize my hours in those 3 days is a plus

It does leave you limited as far as your job search 3 days a week, a serving job was my best bet to maximize money

@Destiny I currently work in a managing accounting role so could drop to part time. I just wondered if it felt rewarding (work & mom life) as 3 days. But I’m sure it varies by person so I may just have to try it.

Yes rewarding indeed to leave the house and make some money
