Age

What early age is it ok to travel with a LO? Is 6-8 weeks too young for 6-8 hours flight especially if LO has not had some appointments yet

Yes I took my LO away at 6 weeks, post c section too. (Best friends wedding) It was so much easier than it is when their older. He just fed and slept, mostly. Be sure to be feeding or dummy at take off and landing for their ears. You can fly with a baby almost as soon as they are born officially, however some airlines have minimum age of 2/3 weeks. I'm a travel agent too if you want some peace of mind. Feel free to message me

I took our LO away at 8 weeks (the day after her jabs) and we had a great time. If we have another I wouldn’t be worried about going at 6 weeks.

I took my baby at 11 and he was fine ☺️

We went at 7 weeks and it was the easiest holiday we’ve had with her. The younger they are the easier it is, do all of the longer flights while it’s this way 🤣

Thanks everyone, hopefully passports application won’t take too long

If that's your only option then go for it, personally I flew at 4 months and wouldn't have wanted to go any earlier as there's still a threat of poo explosions when they're really little and those airplane toilets are not the easiest 😅
