I would if there was anywhere near us that did it
I taught at a swim school, and this was pretty common, especially when first transitioning. Sometimes it can help having someone else take them a couple times especially if you are the default parent. My son would cry if I left but when my husband took him he was fine. Doing a couple private lessons first can help and makes it a little less overwhelming but I know it's not always an option. Occasionally kids do better with certain coaches or gender of coach. If all else fails, a little bribery goes a long way.
Yes I have to literally be on the edge of the pool feet in the water for my son to do it. Otherwise he won’t even get in the pool and same that he loves the water and loves the idea of swimming
Yes we do survival swim lessons. It’s 10 minutes. She cries sometimes at this age
