i wouldn’t go to a softplay since your little one is sick, but instagram has great pages that suggest easy activities for little ones that can be done at home 🥰 search ‘toddler activities’ into instagram and see what works for you 🥰
A wooden spoon, a pan, and a cup of water.
My LO loves sensory stuff so we have coloured rice out to play a lot and hide puzzles pieces under the rice. He uses spoons/diggers/animals to find the pieces depending on what mood he's in and then does the puzzle as he goes along. Kinetic sand is also a favourite at the moment. A while back he played with a tray of rice crispies for about 3 hours and kept coming back to it for days afterwards, that was diggers/dump trucks, then farm animals, then dinosaurs and cycled back round then all again A bath is also a great way to kill time, literally just to play though on days like that x
Muffin pan and oatmeal or flaxseed or chia seeds and some little toys and dishes and spoons and my kid is entertained for a good 45 mins. Coloring and or painting depending how much mess you want today. A bath with some toys. Hope you guys feel better soon!
Do you have any soft play areas around you? Those are the best for rainy days
