Did you just buy the carobel yourself to add to the babies milk? The health visitor wanted me to try anti reflux formula before gaviscon but I tried him 3 times and he was sick off it! So not really sure what to do! Xx
Babies go through a really gassy phase! Mine did it from 4-9 weeks it was so hard. It literally just took time for his digestive system to mature and now he is fine. Solidarity ❤️
@Lauren no didn’t buy the Carobel, it was prescribed as the Gaviscon wasn’t making much difference to my little one, so i’d say have a little chat with your Dr after seeing how your little one gets on with Gaviscon xx
Hey, my baby boy is just under 4 weeks old and got diagnosed with colic and reflux. I got prescribed the gaviscon too…does it actually work?…I’m worried about giving it to him.
@Shamel mine didn’t it made his poo a lot thicker and I found he was more agitated/fussy during the day like his tummy was hurting!! X
@lauren I gave it to him….ive noticed he is more relaxed once he has taken it and it able to sleep for longer. Also not throwing up as much. So it’s definitely working for him. I’m not giving him there recommended amount of 6 sachets a day more like 3/4. Xxx
My 5 week old is the same, diagnosed with Reflux, he was on Gaviscon and still pooped, so dont worry about that! They just look really pasty 😂 he is now on Carobel as the Gaviscon just didn’t work for him, but all babies are different! Xx
