First holiday with baby

On my first holiday abroad with my 18month old at the moment and call i can say is I'm glad I packed some of his favourite foods from home as he's been very picky whilst away. Without it I think I'd have been stressed about him not eating
We go to turkey in three weeks and my baby will be six months! The top things on our list has been a travel pram and car seat, fan for pram , a snooze shade for the pram, sheet for the travel cot (hoping using our own will help baby sleep). Then the usual toys, milton wipes, medicines, swim stuff, clothes etc. Luckily our hotel provides a baby bath but we had planned to use a small inflatable paddling pool. I’m so so nervous for the flight, so following this post hoping to see some tips!
@Louisa are you taking your car seat as you’re going to drive in a car or for even bus journeys ? I’ve heard feeding during take off and landing is meant to help so I hope she’s not too bad on the flight! Xx
Honestly the thought is so scary but you’ll love it when you’re there. They are so happy and 6 months is the perfect age. Everyone will give you different essentials - my essential is to let go of the pressure for them to be the same baby as they are at home and to enjoy a glass of wine in the sunshine. They’ll get so joy much from you being relaxed and enjoying it 😊
