It’s likely due to her having a temperature as any temperature will raise your heart rate, and the jabs will most likely cause a temperature. I would go more by her physically as it’s unusual to monitor their heart rate, maybe look for things like is she breathing rapidly? Is she sucking in her chest when she breathes etc. Have you given calpol? if you are concerned then you can call 111 and they’ll advice you 🙂
@Isabelle yes she has had 2.5ml of calpol every 4 hours! She just had her last one of 24 hours as they suggest doing 3 in the space of 24 hours - her BPM has gone slightly down inbetween 160-170 now luckily! I’m defo going to keep an eye on her! Thank you so much! Going to check if she’s breathing funny aswell! - she’s got a high temp, so only in a sleepsuit and nappy as of right now ! - just hopefully will all go down soon😭☺️ xx
It’s defo a little temp! We’ve used the Owlet for 3 years with oldest and now with baby and every time her heart rate increased in the night I could guarantee she had a temp. You could see it increasing steadily and I’d know I’d be getting the calpol out! If you’re worried of course call 111
@Madeleine thank you so much! I think it’s defo her temp!! Trying to keep her cool and colpoling her 🤣😭 just health anxiety gets the best of me!! I’ll defo call 111 if it gets too much! It’s starting to go down now luckily🥹🤞🏽🤞🏽
I don’t have an owlet but I noticed her chest going up and down a lot faster afterwards but she seemed back to normal by the evening
Not been in the same situation but as with anything, if you're worried you can always call triage x
