My daughter is potty trained #1, but she still has #2 accidents. I’ve been “potty training” since November but stopped in January. And then come February it was like a whole 180 and she started asking to go on her own. I would take her once every hour on the dot. Other than that I don’t have any tips other than I think they’ll start when they’re ready 😅🥲. Good luck mama!
We're learning how to potty over here, but my big tip is Daniel Tigers neighborhood. My son started potty training himself because of the potty episode/potty breaks in the show 😂
Might sound weird but ay what is privacy. 🤣 Mine saw me do it so they asked to try . Best advice just make it feel like it's the most fun thing ever be over animated sing those songs I even announce when I had to go so they felt safe to say they had to go even showing them their own underwear gets them excited. Every kids different! Good luck!
We potty trained my LO at 20 months. I’d recommend using a family toilet seat and step stool instead of a potty. I believe its easier because they are already familiar with mom and dad using toilet. Use a reward system: stickers or tokens in a jar to keep them excited. We did bottom half naked for a few days to understand her schedule and let her get uncomfy with the wetness and more aware of her body signs. It also help us do less laundry lol. By the second day she was already letting us know when she needed to go potty. Also, everytime we noticed her peeing we took her to the bathroom and made sure she finished there to help her create the association. And for poop time we’d read a short book to help her relax.
Not yet! She still doesn’t have much interest. Following for advice!
