Baby sensor pad

Hey! Does anyone use a baby sensor pad or owlet for monitoring baby when sleeping? My little girl had a funny turn after her first injections and it’s frightened me so really want to get one to give me peace of mind but unsure what to get! Babysense & Angelcare do a sensor pad, just wondering if anyone thinks they are good 😊

I have the owlet for my 2 month old and it saved her when we had 2 stopping of breathing incidents. I wouldn't be without it xx

I have a snuza clip! I found it more cheaper than the owlet sock and gave me piece of mind! I got it from Argos, it’s a little clip what goes on her nappy, flashes every time she takes a breath, and if she doesn’t it will alarm ect.. really recommend it! And it’s also recommended by the lullaby trust 🩷

I have the owlet and is really good for peace of mind especially as I cosleep atm, although it's only good if you have good WiFi, mine likes to disconnect alot. I'd recommend getting secondhand as it is very expensive new 😊

I would think about using these as they can often cause more anxiety. We had to go to a&e when my girl was a few days old (this was with my first) and I was like we need to get that owlet etc. but the paediatrician were like please don’t. We see so many anxious parents in here with false alarms and spoke about how inaccurate they are. I’m glad I didn’t get one as think too much data/analysis can make you overthink things. I had friends with an owlet and they said they had quite a few false alarms. I can’t imagine having an alarm go off and panicking and then it be fine, I’d be so on edge. Of course some would argue that they’d prefer false alarms if it meant checking they were ok. Some babies hate the sock thing and so may not last very long. I have had friends recommend the angelcare sensor pad.
