Toddler has fear of sitting on potty! Help!
We reassure her and hype her up when we do get on there but still a bit afraid! We are on day 6 of potty training..
She is good at holding it and minimal accidents..
But super afraid of potty…
Partly down to me I think for pushing it a bit too much on the first couple of days maybe..

I’ve had this. I introduced too early. Mine is 2.5 now and I’ve been introducing slowly now. First he sat on potty fully dressed for a week. Now we’ve moved on to just a nappy on and then once he consistently sits when I ask we will move onto being naked. I’m just taking it really slow and talking lots and reading books about potty x
Could you try slowly introduce a seat on the big toilet instead?
Big? Or little?
