Posting incognito as I feel embarrassed to admit that my husband and I are severely struggling. We are fortunate enough that we have just bought a bigger house and are waiting to move in but this has rinsed our savings. I’m not due to return to work until the end of July for one week and then September properly. Wondering if anyone else is not surviving off their SMP and have any side hustles they recommend? I’m going to organise going in for some KIT days but looking for other suggestions. Thanks!

I've made around £1000 from selling stuff on vinted. I sold my old clothes, baby's old things and husbands. It was a really good clear out.
Are you doing shared leave? I don’t know whether it can be backdated but you’d be able to be paid in full for May half term if not. Other than that there’s a company called Hark that does market research for teachers, I’ve done a few and you get between £50-£80 per project.
