What do you say when you pretty much have everything you need, but people still want to give/buy you baby stuff?

Kiddo is due late next month, and we have a few people that have asked us if we still need things and want to sent us things. All I can think of is asking them to contribute to a college fund😵‍💫, but that feels a little crass asking for money.

You can set up a diaper fund!

Nappies and wipes

Always need more diapers and wipes

Diapers, wipes, or diaper gene bags. You could even ask for jarred baby food

Diaper fund or a meal train

If they want to buy clothes then ask for stuff in bigger sizes. Everyone always buys the cute babygrows for the first few months & forgets that kids grow and still need clothes when they are years old! If its toys then all kids love Lego 😝 or something open ended for when they are bigger. At the end of the day if you are left with extras you can always ebay them 😜

Can never have enough diapers and wipes! If they’re wanting to get you clothes or toys… ask for bigger sizes in clothes(these littles grow like weeds) & for toys, educational/developmental toys! Anything that you can use later on !!

Diapers and wipes, and if they wanna be bold clothing that can fit later on in their life🤣

https://www.fidelity.com/529-plans/what-is-a-529-plan Open a 529 college plan so friends and family can contribute too! That way, they don't have to hand the money to you, and no one will worry what happened to it because they put it there. You can't set it up for an unborn baby, but you can just ask them to hold onto their gift $ until after birth. Then, each year, they can continue to contribute for birthdays/holidays when you don't know what else to ask for.
