12 week scan
I had my 12 week scan today. I didn’t drink enough water and so they couldn’t see my baby as much as they wanted. They only managed to see hands, feet and heart beat. They said they couldn’t see the back of the neck of the baby so therefore they can’t do the abnormality tests. We are abit upset and disheartened this is our first baby after several miscarriages and we didn’t get a photo. They said to come back again in 20 weeks for a scan is that normal? And do the downs test at 14+ weeks. Any advice on this or anyone in a similar experience.
Hmm really? Thats odd. I was told the abnormality tests have to be before before 14 weeks 🙂↔️. I couldn’t make my 12 week appt (it was booked for 11+6) and their next availability I would have been 14+3, and they said that was late so they managed to get me an appointment before then.
