Depending on your income level, you may qualify for state support for childcare/wic/healthcare, etc..
Work in a daycare. They are always hiring.
Start an Etsy store if you have a creative passion
You won't make a ton doing this but I do research surveys and AI editing/teaching through Prolific.com. It's nice because many of the surveys are interesting anyways so it's also mentally engaging. There's also CloudConnect and Amazon MTurk for similar stuff. Other things I've seen people suggest is selling used clothes, furniture, etc through Poshmark or Facebook Marketplace, bonus if you spruce them up a little bit. I like going thrifting anyways so I do that some but also not a big money maker. I can't commit as much time to these things with a toddler running around but some moms make bank doing those things. Oh, and DataAnnotation.com is the really big AI training company where you can make a toooon of money. Be forewarned though, their qualification process is brutal. You could babysit, that's a classic sahm moneymaker.
U can do your own daycare at home, my mom did that when my brother was little. If u live near ur parents and if they have some health problems, u can apply to be their caregiver. I’m gonna do that. Also there’s online tutoring for any subject and age for $25 every 30minutes.
@Chandra there are also plenty already in the country that’re either looking for new homes or to switch. There are forums you can find some, if you do want to save on immigration costs.
Hi Kayla, My husband has recently started a part-time in the financial services industry, and he is planning to expand his business. If you are interested to know more please DM me.
Hey! Just wanted to share that I’ve started a group on here and IG called “Get Her Pink Back” — it’s a supportive space for women who are looking to reconnect with themselves, feel more confident, and embrace their femininity again after motherhood. This space is about taking off the pressure, reclaiming your pink (your joy, your identity, your light), and holding space for one another. I’ll be sharing gentle journal prompts, quiet encouragement, and small moments of support — plus, for any mum who’s curious about building something of her own, I’ll be sharing soft, simple ways to explore digital marketing and gently start earning an income without the pressure. Feel free to introduce yourself, vent, ask questions, or just silently scroll if that’s what you need right now. Just search for “Get Her Pink Back” in groups and come say hi! 🦩✨🫶🏽
