The way I do it when dropping my 22 month old at nursery (partner is back at work so I have them both on my own for drop offs), is I put the bag on my back, I then get my toddler out and I make her stand between my legs and the car whilst I get the newborn out, I don’t have a cat seat that is removed/carried so tend to then just carry babe over one shoulder with a blanket and hold hands with my toddler
I usually get the toddler in first and then go back for the baby. The toddler is more of a flight risk 😂 x
I carry both at the same time to the car- baby in car seat and toddler if goes on my hip or walks holding my hand. If toddler is walking, he goes in the car first and baby ls car seat is inbetween my legs. If I’m carrying my toddler too, I put baby in the car first. It’s a lot less daunting once you’ve managed it once!
I would get everything Ready by the door, carry the car seat and walk holding hands with toddler. My car is literally two metres from my door thankfully so I just load toddler then car seat. Depends how secure the 1m is I guess? X
