We only had one wee accident but several poos. Don't give up!! Has your child been comfortable having wees on the potty or none at all?
None at all today, but she’s only had 1 wee so far! She is happy enough to sit on the potty or toilet and pretend like she is trying though x
Once she's had the break through of feeling comfortable enough to wee regularly you'll find she'll have minimal accidents. Don't stress, won't be long x
@Nicola thank you 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻x
I was despairing hard after day one literally had about 8 wee accidents. We put my LG on the potty after each one and said 'oh no, it's ok, but next time wee wees go in the potty'. She successfully peed once or twice on the potty (in that she told us she needed to wee). Second day, I asked her every 20 mins or so if she needed a pee or poo and that reduced accidents to about one or two, which was such a big change and win. Tried it again the next few days after and she got so annoyed with me asking her that she started telling me when she needed it 🤣 persevere, it gets better! 💪🏻
Thank you ! After day 3 , today we have had 1 successful wee on the potty and a poo, 2 wee accidents ! Hoping she will get there in the next few days 🤞🏻
Is everyone going nappy free or putting pull ups on? I hate the accidents as we have carpet everywhere except the kitchen/dining room and we can’t stay in there the whole day for a few days x
This morning she took herself to the toilet for a wee and then later for a poo. Since then she did a wee on the potty but didn’t pull her pants down and then 2 wees not on the potty ! Any advice or just to keep at it 🥺? X
We started January and only had 1 accident day 1. Since then i can prob count on my hand with accidents, she picked it up really well. We had issues with poos but thats sorted now. Still using a pull up at night time and still wet every morning though but thats another time problem as shes still young. Its completely normal to have many accidents at the beginning especially first few days but you just have to keep going unless its causing too much stress on little one x
