No carseat. Have to rideshare later
Has anyone ever had to take their 2yo with them in a rideshare like Lyft or Uber and not had a carseat? Can you even do that? It's only like 5 mins down the street but it's too cold to walk an hour today. Anything I can do??

There is a carseat option for Ubers, in which the car comes equip with a car seat for you to use. Drivers may not take you without a car seat since it’s illegal and they do not want to be held reliable if something were to happen.
Is there an option to have something you need delivered instead? Or is it for an appointment or something?
I’ve just taken my kid and put a seatbelt on. Nothing long. But some uber drivers can reject you for not having a car seat.

You actually can go in a taxi/uber etc without a car seat in the uk. I’ve never done it myself because it freaks me out but it’s possible. Guess it depends on where you live.
